ΧΡΗΣΕΙΣ

Βάζουμε σε Future Perfect το ρήμα μιας πράξης (Α) η οποία ξεκίνησε στο παρελθόν, συνεχίζεται στο παρόν και θα ολοκληρωθεί στο ΜΕΛΛΟΝ...

α) ...πριν από μια άλλη μελλοντική πράξη (Β) (της οποίας το ρήμα θα μπει σε χρόνο Simple Presente)

I will have finished my project (Α) before you come (Β)

ή

β) ...πριν από μια συγκεκριμένη στιγμή στο μέλλον.

I will have finished my project (Α) before the evening (στιγμή στο μέλλον).

I will have finished my project by then / by midnight / by the time you arrive.


ΛΕΞΕΙΣ

α) by then (συγκεκριμένη στιγμή στο μέλλον).

I will have finished my project by then / by midnight / by the time you arrive.

β) όλες οι λέξεις του Present Perfect και του Past Perfect.

γ) όλες οι λέξεις που χρησιμοποιούνται για να δηλώσουν μέλλον.

We will have been in London for 3 years next week!
I' m living next month. I will have been in London for six years by the time I leave.

REMEMBER No Future in Time Clauses

Like all future forms, the Future Perfect cannot be used in clauses beginning with time expressions such as: when, while, before, after, by the time, as soon as, if, unless, etc. Instead of Future Perfect, Present Perfect is used.

Examples:

• I am going to see a movie when I will have finished my homework. Not Correct
• I am going to see a movie when I have finished my homework. Correct

         - I will have arrived by 6:00. Correct
         - O.K. but if you haven't arrived by 6:00, we will go without you. Correct
